glovebox colours

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

glovebox colours

Post by martinholmesuk » Sat Nov 19, 2005 11:59 am

Reove the front part of the glovebox and then remove the front of that part (held by screws) and Volvo has stamped

Colour :- Grey
:- Beige

also on the back of the main glovebox it says

Colour :- Grey p/n = 511256
Beige p/n = 515030

maybe for American spec? if so then some thought really went into it.

O yeah, there are lots of beige partnumbers for the 480, but Volvo cannot provide you with any if you order them...

Those are indeed the US partnumbers.
I tried ordering them a decade ago but got the reply from the Belgian importer that I should stop inventing partnumbers..
Knows that tidal pools are standard with every 480 you buy, as are skating rings in winter.

Did you try convince the guy that it was in fact a genuine Volvo partnumber? Maybe a US dealer could help
