Hi
Just a very quick question ... I have a 94 480 ES ... under the stereo it has a rattly cubby hole. Wanted to replace with oil pressure and volmeter unit - question is, is the multi plus already there - would I need to get the other end too - i.e. sesnors?
Cheers
Alan

you might have to tap in to the the sensors/wiring loom some were im not 100% tho im guessing your getting the gauges out of a turbo 480

all thw wiring is in the loom already, so thats one thing down.
if you look in your engine bay you should see a blank to the side of the oil filter.
the wire going to it is used, but you need the sensor off another car...bascially replace the blank with the sensor, and wire up and youre good to go.
voltmeter *should* work as soon as you plug in...the sockets there in the loom at the back of the cubby.
also, if you have the multi gauge with the turbo dial, but not a turbo, turn it into an 'economy' gauge...easy to do, it measures manifold pressure.
you need a length of piping...in the engine bay, if you look at the inlet manifold, on the left hand side, theres two ports blocked off....pipe on one of these, route through to back of turbo guage, and you got a manifold pressure gauge.....the higher up the gauge it goes, the worse economy youre getting (right way round?)
