Hi, thanks for the replies! Battery and fuses are ok. What might agree with your idea is that when i lock the driverside door the interior lights don't turn off immediatley. But if i lock it from the passenger side they do. So does this reconfirm your guess that it is the small switch near the barre...

Right then, Had a look into the idle valve and it was clean and moving fine. Took off the air hose to the throttle housing and all clean and moving ok too, including the small brass screw. Moved the throttle a tiny bit and it made the 'click' sound. Checked over all the vacumn hoses and they all are...

Turbo...only way!!!
