 Novembermeeting 2000
November 26th was a rememorable day in the Volvo 480 community. 'Why' you ask? It was the first
meeting organised by the Volvo 480 club EUROPE ever! We all gathered in restaurant "AC 't Harde" in
the town 't Harde next to the A28 highway in The Netherlands. The day started out rainy but it couldn't
ruin the mood everyone was in! For lots of people this was their first time to see so many Volvo 480 together
on a single parking area.
At first we gathered for some coffee to get to know each other a little bit. Then everyone started moving outside
to the parking area to have a look at each others' baby. It was a big surprise to see that there were so many
differences between cars which all carried the same name: 480!
After a while we started out on the first tour we had organised and found out it was a bit harder to
organise a good tour. We all drove together in a large group and everyone was told that the location at the end was the same
place as where we started. We toured through the dutch forest 'the Veluwe' which resulted in a beautiful sight and
we had lots of attention from other people on the road. It's just great to see so many 480 together. Afterwards we all had another coffee.
Some of us even stayed longer and had dinner together.
Having looked back at it was a great day and it has given us the base of future meetings. The pictures here were
